Richard Costin was born in Melbourne in 1955. The last 32 years Richard has spent exploring the Kimberley. A naturalist himself, he comes from a family of passionate conservationists. Richard’s major interests are stills photography, filming and wildlife research. Richard has a passionate interest in the Kimberley, and has walked and explored vast tracts of this land and coast, producing two DVDs, “Wildwater Country” and “Birds of Paradise 1”, on the spectacular nature of the Kimberley, as well as some stunning stills photography. A keen Photographer, documentary film maker and conservationist, Richard has a wealth of knowledge to share.
