Odyssey Expeditions can at last offer you an affordable cruise to the Kimberley. Western Australia’s Kimberley coast is stunning, there’s no other word for it and we cover the Kimberley’s best kept secrets and place our guests amongst her rugged wilderness in comfort, without a huge price tag!
Odyssey Expeditions prides itself on providing experienced guides to the Kimberley onboard a brand new, affordable, yet very comfortable vessel - Odyssey. We also offer our 20 person passenger expedition tender, Homer. Designed and launched in June 2006, Homer is used for exploring the creeks and tributaries of the Kimberley, Homer can take you in shade, in comfort and with modern practical facilities like an onboard toilet when you book aboard the Odyssey. Both vessels have two smaller tenders for fishing excursions, exploring and mud crabbing.
Situated in the far north west of Western Australia, the Kimberley offers a year round tropical climate, breathtaking scenery and an unspoiled coastline. A diverse array of flora and fauna inhabit the land and waters, including birds of every imaginable colour, intriguing marsupials, and monster size fish and of course the famous crocodile.
Most attractions are at their best from April to November, waterfalls are flowing, gorges are full, flora and fauna are at their abundant best. Ideal conditions apply for walking, exploring and experiencing one of the world’s most remote and tranquil destinations.
The Kimberley is blessed with a rich pioneering and indigenous history, offering visitors the holiday experience of a lifetime. Deep gorges and awe-inspiring waterfalls make the Kimberley a land to be discovered.
